Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on individual to join our hospitality team as a Workcamper focused on Maintenance and Grounds. This pivotal role is essential for upholding the pristine appearance and operational functionality of our facilities ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests and visitors. The ideal candidate will combine a strong work ethic with practical skills to manage outdoor spaces and perform routine repairs contributing directly to the overall guest experience and property value.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily groundskeeping tasks including landscaping lawn care and general site cleanup to maintain aesthetic appeal.
- Perform general maintenance duties such as minor repairs equipment upkeep and troubleshooting to ensure all facilities remain in working order.
- Monitor and report any safety hazards or structural issues within the property grounds to the management team promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of outdoor areas for events or seasonal changes as required by the hospitality schedule.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in grounds work landscaping or general facility maintenance.
- Strong ability to handle physical labor and operate basic maintenance tools and equipment safely.
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as typical in the hospitality sector.
- Self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and order within the property.
Required Skills:
We are looking for someone who can multi-task think on their toes work independently and demonstrate a high level of organization. Must be customer service driven with the ability to satisfy customer needs while meeting campground requirements. Supplies and materials will be provided. Previous experience is preferable but you will receive training. Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs.
