Work Center Team Lead - 1st ShiftLeading with energy precision and purpose to hit target and boost team performance!Location: Rydal GAMake any day a pay day with on-demand pay!What a Day in Your Life Looks Like:Safety Compliance Adhere to all safety policies across the work area and Operation Safely and effectively operate both power and non-power Skills Accurately interpret and apply measurements including proficient tape measure Focus Apply quality standards with precision maintaining zero to minimal defects per Order Interpretation Read and understand detailed work orders with Collaboration Actively participate in PPS 5S and TPM initiatives to drive Flexibility Work required shifts including overtime to meet operational Support Assist in onboarding and on-the-job training for new team Work effectively with little to no supervision while maintaining high Endurance Meet physical requirements including lifting up to 50 lbs and performing extended standing bending stooping reaching and additional tasks as needed- always ready to step up and support the Job Functions:PRODUCTIVITYEffective use and coordination of resources to accomplish specific goals and outputs while maintaining quality and customer and reduce truck hours to optimize utilize people and resources such as overtime equipment and and execute daily work both efficiently and activities across departments to ensure smooth plant truck delivery goals including daily monthly and on-time and control inventory levels to maintain appropriate availability and manage / INITIATIVECreativity in approaches to safety personnel productivity and quality related and develop new or improved processes that drive productivity and customer and develop solutions to problems as neededQUALITYDemonstrate a commitment to quality and the quality process. Completes assignments in an accurate and thorough manner. Produces work that meets or exceeds standard including satisfying the requirements of internal or external personal quality attitude and quality leadership/ established work procedures/practices; follow specifications and implement changes as an active role in daily truck audits following up on issues and corrective quality of trucks in process and in rework and communicate required pursue defect reductions and positively impact defect and maintain quality improvement efforts and maintain Lead by personal example to create and maintain a safe and orderly work environment. Enforces or follows safe work zero lost time injuries and reduce OSHA recordable compliance with safety policies and safe work consistent daily housekeeping of all areas of established programs and personal efforts (e.g. safety meetings) to improve safety personal safety attitude and safety leadership/ DEVELOPMENT / TEAM LEADERSHIPProvide associates with objectives and standards specifying results to be tools training and support as a motivating climate supportive of each team member becoming fully and promote teamwork and effective communication within Production and the company as a quickly and effectively with associate issues/ to all legal and company policies and an active interest in training all new and existing associates assigned within your area of continual effective communication with associates assigned to your area of performance coaching and counseling as required to ensure associates meet desired Sets You Apart:High School Diploma or equivalent GED supervisory experience preferred but not Requirements:Step into the heart of our fast-paced manufacturing plant where every task drives this hands-on role youll be on your feetstanding for extended periods walking and using your hands to operate tools and equipment with precision. Clear communication is key so youll be regularly required to talk and listen as part of a safety-focused team-driven environment. Youll also lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical movements like bending squatting reaching overhead and occasionally crawling in tight spaces.
