Work-Based Learning Teacher

The Work-Based Learning Teacher plays a critical role in advancing Learning Excellence by connecting classroom instruction to meaningful real-world career experiences that prepare students for future success. Through Respectful Relationships with students families employers and community partners and through Effective Communication across school and workplace settings this position helps students develop the academic professional and interpersonal skills necessary for college career and life readiness. We seek an educator committed to Continuous Improvement who will expand opportunities for students strengthen school-community partnerships and support individualized pathways aligned to student interests graduation goals and workforce development needs.

This is a 10-month position. The salary will be $49037 to $89059 annually based on experience and in accordance with the current negotiated Salamanca Teachers Association (STA) Contract. Salamanca City Central School District offers a robust benefits package numerous professional development opportunities and is a Student Loan Forgiveness eligible district.

Qualifications

This position requires valid New York State teacher certification in Business Education or similar area as well as New York State Coordinator of Work-Based Learning Extension or significant progress toward gaining the extension.
