Women's Rugby Coach (temporary, part-time)

Job Summary
This position will oversee all aspects of Womens Club Rugby Teams on field responsibilities. The coach will work with team captains to facilitate practice plans and teach drills. They will teach strategy attend every practice or competition and the coach will help manage team dynamics. The coach will also work with the clubs executive board who oversee all of the teams administrative responsibilities including scheduling and fundraising efforts. This position reports directly to the Assistant Director of Club Sports and indirectly to all Campus Recreation professional staff members and the teams officers. The Womens Club Rugby team falls under Campus Recreation and is not associated with Athletics.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide skill development for college students and cater to a variety of skill levels
- To organize safe and appropriate sport sessions
- To supervise/mentor/guide the participating members of each club
- Attend all team practices and games
- Duty to act in an emergency by performing emergency evacuations; provide First-Aid CPR AED based on current certification
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous experience in coaching or participating in specific sport
- Flexible availability and high level of responsibility
- High school diploma or GED/equivalent
- First-Aid CPR AED & Blood Borne Pathogen certifications- must receive within 90 days of starting.

This is a part-time temporary non-unit non-benefited position.
Anticipate 6-8 hours per week at $15/ hour
