• Setting:Outpatient OB/GYN clinic
• Schedule: PRN: 8-hour shifts8:00 AM4:30 PM
• Weekends:No weekends
• Call:No call responsibilities
• Extended Hours:No evenings or extended clinic hours
• Patient Volume:Approximately1825 patients per day
• Appointment Length:15- and 30-minute appointments
• Practice Pace:Very fast-paced and busy
• Patient Population:Unique and diverse patient population
• Patient Mix:Strong combination ofOB and GYNcare
• Practice Environment:Busy collaborative outpatient clinic with a varied patient population
• Collaborate with physicians to expand individualized primary healthcare services.
• Diagnose and treat a variety ofacute and chronic health conditions.
• Obtain comprehensive patient histories and perform assessments through observation interviews and physical examinations.
• Order perform and interpret appropriatediagnostic studies and laboratory testing.
• Provide preventive healthcare services including:
  • Health assessments and screenings
  • Immunizations
  • Preventive counseling
  • Ongoing patient care and health maintenance
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide direct treatment and management of health conditions including appropriatereferrals to healthcare providers and community resources.
• Counsel and educate patients and their families/caregivers regarding:
  • Preventive health and wellness
  • Treatment options
  • Disease management
  • Available community resources
• Coordinate care with physicians specialists and other members of the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and nursing processes in accordance withspecialty-specific standards and network nursing policies.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred.

Education:

• Masters degree of Nursing required.
