Job Summary:

The Athletics Department at Marist University invites applications for a full-time 12-month position as the Womens Basketball Assistant Coach III. This position will report to the Head Womens Basketball Coach and participate in all aspects of team management including practice and game preparation and execution. The position is responsible for the identification research of and communication with prospective student-athletes. The assistant coach will also assist in the academic athletics personal and career mentoring of student-athletes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience
• Valid drivers license with no serious convictions

Essential Functions:

• Recruit student-athletes to Marist University.
• Provide mentoring to student-athletes.
• Assist the head coach in game preparation practice/training planning team management.
• Collaborative work with coaching staff in overall team management.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned by head coach and athletic director.

• Masters degree

• Tuition Benefits:
  • Up to 16 undergraduate credits per semester. Up to 18 graduate credit per academic calendar. Eligibility extends to employee spouse and dependent children under age 26.
  • University pays 100% tuition only.
  • Eligible dependents may be Reimbursed up to $2000 per semester towards tuition at another accredited institution.
