Wireless RF Compliance Validation Engineer (RSE)

Do you love working on challenges that no one has solved yet Do you like changing the game As a member of our dynamic group you will have the unique and rewarding opportunity to shape upcoming products that will delight and inspire millions of Apples customers every Wireless Systems and Compliance Engineering team is looking for an RF Compliance Validation Engineer to perform RF regulatory characterization and demonstrate regulatory compliance for new Apple products with advanced radio technologies.

tYou will validate emission test cases for different regulatory domains in certification test setups. ntYou will translate world-wide emission requirements into test cases and coordinate those with Regulatory Compliance teams to ensure that product validation covers all certification tests. ntYou will define and implement validation plans for regulatory-facing software features. ntYou will perform debugging of marginal/failure tests and will interact with multi-functional teams like RFHW/Antenna/Product Design/EE to drive design changes and address will maintain test setups via periodic checks and calibration. ntYou will help Regulatory Compliance teams in planning and delivering final certification testing at 3rd party test labs.

Characterization of Apple wireless products towards compliance of WW requirements. nPerform initial HW/SW bring up on Prototype World-wide Wireless Regulatory/Compliance specs and develop test RF Test Automation requirements u0026 work with internal automation team towards automation with fellow team members towards debugging / resolution of Wireless compliance related HW with HW Design FEM Vendors Chipset vendors Antenna and Product design teams to come up with HW Schematic/layout reviews and HW fixes via Chipset design requirements based on RF/Regulatory compliance u0026 implementing various SW/FW features including Regulatory Power RF/EM Simulations for Schematic/Layout using various simulation tools.

Bachelors Degree and in-depth understanding of System Transceiver RF Parametric and RF component level characteristics and experience with lab equipment including network analyzers spectrum analyzers signal generators and call boxes (i.e. CMW/8960/UXM).

Masters Degree understanding of at least one Wireless technology including 5G FR1 FR2 GSM UMTS CDMA LTE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax and of Antenna characteristics impact to radiated with radiated test setups radiated chamber calibration and in MATLAB programming or ADS CST HFSS on worldwide Regulatory standards in relation to carry a product to certification.
