Join Apples Wireless System-on-Chip (SoC) design team to define next-generation modem architectures and develop cutting-edge physical-layer algorithms for products like AirPods iPhone and Apple Watch. Youll work on system modeling design and simulation collaborating with RF antenna firmware and software engineers to transform wireless innovations from concept to reality.
Your responsibilities include wireless system design simulation and pre-/post silicon bring-up in the lab by collaborating with Radio/RTL/FW team as well as cross-functional teams to deliver the products that enhance end user experience.
Design comprehensive wireless system simulations modeling RF/PHY signals channel behavior and MAC/networking physical-layer algorithms and embedded DSP solutions for wireless SoC with cross-functional teams to derive simulate implement and verify novel PHY models and visualizations of system performance including propagation RF/antenna behavior and protocol fixed-point design and generate RTL vectors for hardware lab FPGA/silicon bring-up and RF/PHY/MAC testing with industry-standard equipment.
BS and minimum 10 years relevant industry experience. nMastery of complex wireless systems with deep understanding of component dependencies and protocol layer in DSP wireless communications and wireless chip development. nStrong software programming skills for RF/PHY modeling and MAC protocol in Matlab C and C.
MSEE/Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with Digital Communications u0026 Signal Processing focus and minimum 10 years relevant industry experience. nWireless standards organization or industry consortia with large-scale field and simulation dataset or patents in wireless communications or signal -point design and RTL vector generation of analog/RF impairments in wireless standards experience (e.g. Bluetooth Ultra-Wideband GPS).nHands-on lab FPGA/silicon bring-up and PHY/RF/MAC testing experience.
