Wire Transfer Specialist I

Merchants Bank Winona has an opening for a Wire Transfer Specialist I. The hours for this position will generally be Monday through Friday between 8am include assisting with funds management and handling wire transfer functions while processing outgoing domestic and foreign wires. Duties also include reporting answering ACH questions and return items reconciling general ledger balances and processing verifications.1-3 years of banking experience required with a basic understanding of wire transfer and ACH activities. Associates degree in business or related field preferred. Position will require average finger dexterity to operate normal office equipment such as computer calculator etc. Requires ability to articulate :Responsible to Specialized Services Manager in Deposit Operations for fulfillment of functions and responsibilities. Will work closely with Wire Transfer Specialist II to ensure daily work is completed timely and accurately. Will have telephone contact with Federal Reserve correspondent banks affiliate banks and customers to assist with a variety of matters and must interact in a manner that is conducive to an effective and efficient operation.
