Job Summary
WHAT YOULL DO
- Design warheads and complex ordnance/munitions systems and transition them from prototype to production.
- Quickly create high fidelity prototype parts to assess effectiveness by testing on the range.
- Manage arena and system testing of munitions products from end-to-end including project planning design of experiments and safety.
- Capture test video compile data from ground and flight tests and analyze results.
- Assemble/disassemble explosive test articles and precision targets.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in Mechanical Engineering Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
- Must be returning to school at the end of the internship to continue academic studies for at least one quarter or semester.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities; U.S. clearance eligibility may be required depending on program.
- Ability to complete an in-person 16 to 24-week internship in one of our offices in winter 2027.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience creating complex mechanical designs using CAD tools such as SolidWorks or NX.
- Test experience including data acquisition data analysis and project coordination.
- Experience preparing engineering documentation (i.e. specifications test procedures technical reports drawings etc.).
- Experience with munitions testing.
- Prior experience in explosive operations and/or handling munitions
US Hourly Range
$34 - $50 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience education and/or training critical skills and/or business considerations.
