Windows Server Administrator Night Shift

We are currently seeking a Windows Systems Administrator 3rd shift (9PM to 5AM) to join the Compartmented Enterprise Services Office (CESO) effort. This program is establishing a modern secure web service (SWS) operation as part of a state-of-the-art highly automated platform capable of supporting a rapidly expanding customer population. This position is based in San Antonio TX and is 100% on-site.

Primary Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments across physical and virtual infrastructure.
• Manage Active Directory DNS DHCP Group Policy and Microsoft-based infrastructure services.
• Perform server installation configuration upgrades patching and troubleshooting.
• Monitor server performance availability capacity and system health.
• Manage user accounts permissions security groups and access controls.
• Support virtualization platforms such as VMware.
• Implement and maintain server backup and disaster-recovery procedures.
• Troubleshoot operating-system application network and server-related issues.
• Apply security updates hardening standards and vulnerability remediation.
• Maintain technical documentation configuration records and operational procedures.
• Participate in incident response change management and infrastructure projects.
• Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell where appropriate.
• Provide escalation-level support for Windows infrastructure issues.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree and 2 years of overall related experience with a Windows servers environment. Additional experience education and training may be considered in lieu of degree.
• An active TS/SCI security clearance is required for this position.
• Currently possess DoD 8750 certification at least IAT level II e.g Securityce.
• Comfortable working 247 shifts including nights weekends and holidays.
• Candidate may be asked to obtain CI Poly in future
• Experience with configuration troubleshooting and maintaining VMware environments.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and experience in other languages like Python.
• Experience with application of security settings and other commercial best practices such as DISA STIGS.
• Proficient with Active Directory DNS DHCP Group Policy and Microsoft-based infrastructure services.
• Experience with System (hardware) and application (software) installation and configuration.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experienced with DISA and DISAs support to mission partners
• TS/SCI w/CI Poly Preferred
• Experience with AWS EC2 S3.
• Candidates with a thorough knowledge of networking principles to included TCP/IP a plus.
• Experience with a ticketing system such as BMC Remedy.
• Linux OS experience.
