Window Washer

General Summary Of Duties:

Provide maintenance and upkeep to windows mirrors and glass work which contributes to the overall appearance of the Hotel.  

Role and Responsibilities: (Includes but is not limited to the following)

• Perform general cleaning tasks of windows mirrors and glasswork safely using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned to adhere/maintain area to standards.
• Communicate to supervisor in written format per department guidelines the status of progress in assigned area.
• Maintain inventory of supplies needed to perform job function.

Qualifications :

Performance Requirements: (Knowledge skills and abilities)

• Ability to comprehend verbal English sufficient to understand job requests from supervisor guest and co-workers. Ability to understand verbal English in case of emergency situations.
• Ability to comprehend product labeling instructions/warnings to enable the safe application of products and processes within the Hotel.  Ability to understand written English to read any caution or safety notices.
• Ability to work in unfavorable conditions which can occasionally be dusty/dirty and wet.
• Ability to maintain attendance in conformance with standards.
• Ability to maintain a neat clean and well-groomed appearance.

Typical physical / mental demands
Ability to grasp bend lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a maximum of 50 lbs. on an intermittent basis and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use sponges squeegee T-bar and scissor lift.
