Join the Wi-Fi Firmware development team and be part of an outstanding team of engineers driving innovation on products used by millions worldwide. Our team is looking for a highly motivated Wi-Fi Firmware Engineer to drive the implementation and optimization of FW/SW design for Apples latest products including next generation of iPhone iPad Apple Watch AirPods Mac and more.
Be a key member of the Wi-Fi Firmware development team where you will work on FW/SW design integration testing and optimization from early prototypes until productization. The work involves documenting requirements design documentation FW implementation performance evaluation on SW/HW prototypes analyzing logs and pushing features through the build process into released SW. Engineers will be working with extended teams in the system HW and PHY teams to complete joint effort features.
Develop firmware code for Apples Wi-Fi chip setsnDesign / code / integrate code in C/C for Wi-Fi based algorithms to implement the 802.11 protocolnWork with test teams to validate the developed featuresnFollow release process for pushing features from concept to release candidatesnDebug issues from the field examining logs and over the air logs
Youre fluent in C/CnYou understand wireless communications and have networking stack exposurenYou understand communication theory and can contribute to technical discussions regarding wireless systemsnYoure fluent in Git or other code source management toolsnThrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while driving multiple projects across teamsnConsistently achieve results even under tough circumstancesnPossess a BS in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent
You have a MS in electrical engineering or equivalentnYou enjoy taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency high energy and enthusiasmnBuild partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectivesnHandle conflict situations effectively with a minimum of noise
