Job Summary
Position Summary
The Project Specialist supports the successful delivery of gas service projects following authorization by coordinating activities across internal teams and external stakeholders. This role focuses on ensuring authorized projects advance efficiently through permitting construction and service readiness while maintaining clear communication accountability and issue resolution. The Project Specialist works closely with Sales Operations Construction Permitting Meter Services and customers to monitor progress resolve issues and support timely completion of work. This position plays a key role in improving consistency visibility and execution during later phases of the project lifecycle.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Coordinate post-authorization project activities across multiple internal and external stakeholders
Monitor project progress and follow up on outstanding actions to support timely execution
Support permitting construction and service readiness activities by facilitating communication and tracking status
Assist with scheduling coordination related to construction added load and service activation
Support meter request and meter installation coordination
Serve as a point of contact for project inquiries and status updates
Identify issues risks or delays and assist with escalation and resolution
Participate in pre- and post-project evaluations to support continuous improvement
Collaborate with Sales Operations Design and Construction teams to support accurate project delivery
Maintain accurate project information in applicable tracking systems

Proficiency with standard office and project tracking tools
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in utilities construction coordination infrastructure projects or operations support
Familiarity with project lifecycles permitting or field operations

We offer a competitive salary range of $79200 to $114975 per year commensurate with experience education and addition we provide a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance retirement plans and paid time off.
