Our Douglasville Chase Staffing is immediately hiring skilled and motivated MIG & Production Welders for an industry-leading manufacturing client in the LITHIA SPRINGS Austell Fulton Industrial areas.

Salary:

$19.00 per hour (Starting pay based on experience)
Fabricating experience is preferred

Full-time Temp-to-hire

Schedule & Shift:

• 10-hour shift

• Day shift: Monday to Thursday 6:00 AM 4:30 PM

• Overtime: Friday shifts available based on departmental production needs

Job Summary:

As a MIG & Production Welder you will operate production welding equipment to fabricate high-quality metal components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for maintaining production targets while ensuring all safety and quality standards are strictly met.

Core Responsibilities:

• Operate production MIG welding equipment to fabricate metal components with precision.

• Read and interpret blueprints structural drawings layouts and welding symbols.

• Prepare align and fit parts using clamps calipers squares angle grinders and hand tools.

• Inspect finished welds for defects to ensure compliance with strict quality standards.

• Maintain a clean secure and organized manufacturing workspace.

• Log basic production data and report any equipment malfunctions to supervisors.

Requirements (Must Haves):

• Proven hands-on experience with manual production MIG welding.

• Strong ability to read interpret and work from technical fabrication drawings/blueprints.

• Proficiency with standard hand and power tools (grinders saws calipers squares).

• Ability to stand for the duration of a 10 hour shift.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.

• Comfortable working in a high-activity non-climate-controlled plant environment.

• Strong attention to detail and self-inspection skills.

• Steel-toe footwear is strictly required.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• AWS welding certification or equivalent technical training.

• Previous structural wire-feed welding experience.

• Bilingual communication skills (English / Spanish) are a plus.
