As the Welder you are responsible for the various tasks such as the preparation welding and finishing of complex welded fabrications responsible for product your role you are responsible for the correct completion of complex welded fabrications. All work is carried out in accordance with the designated welding techniques taking into account the required productivity levels and the set quality standardsSet up and calibrate welding equipment in accordance with set procedures and technical drawings applicable quality standards and health safety and environmental regulations so that the work can be carried out in accordance with the company proceduresComply with supply lead times and standard times as set by the Team LeaderPerform simple maintenance of tools and instruments. Larger maintenance issues are escalated to the Team LeaderSafe and certified operation of industrial equipment as needed (crane and/or tie loads)Check parts for presence dimensions and qualityWhat we are looking for Problem-solving; approaches difficulties with innovative insight and ability to apply technical expertise to workResult-driven to and focused on meeting customer expectations and fulfilling quality standardsPunctuality; ability to keep to schedules follow instructions legal obligations and safety requirementsSecondary education in a relevant technical field adhering to local legal requirementsWelding certificate; TIG or equivalent adhering to local legal requirementsExperience of welding and welding technologyOperational knowledge of the relevant software and ability to read technical drawingsAbility to lift upwards of 50lbs stand and bend repeatedlyCommitment to Global Safety As a JBT Marel employee expectations are to respect internal rules and actively contribute to the delivery of the corporate Safety policy and guidance to ensure JBT Marel is a safe place to work.
