Welder I

*MUST HAVE TIG WELDING EXPERIENCE. NO EXCEPTIONS.*

Performs welding tasks using established techniques and procedures.

Prepares welds and finishes fabrications ensuring product quality.

Sets up and calibrates welding equipment according to technical drawings and standards.

Performs basic maintenance of tools and equipment.

Checks parts for presence dimensions and quality.

Operates industrial equipment safely and in compliance with regulations.

Participates in team activities and supports best practices.

Maintains a clean and organized work area.

Reports defects and process issues to supervisors.

Follows all safety guidelines and uses required personal protective equipment.

Has skills developed through formal training or work experience. Works within established procedures and guidelines with limited ability to modify methods or approach. Completes assigned tasks with moderate supervision. Performs most established procedures and is typically considered semi-skilled through work experience. Resolves routine issues with guidance or approval from senior staff or supervisors.
