How You Will Help

• Operate welding equipment (MIG TIG Stick or combination) to join metal components according to specifications and blueprints
• Inspect welds for quality alignment and adherence to engineering standards before parts move to next production stage
• Prepare metal surfaces through grinding cleaning and degreasing to ensure proper weld integrity
• Maintain welding equipment and notify maintenance of any malfunctions or needed repairs
• Read and interpret technical drawings blueprints and welding specifications accurately
• Work with pressing operations to coordinate seamless part assembly and material flow
• Maintain a clean safe and organized work station; follow all safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures
• Meet production quotas and quality standards while working independently during 3rd shift
• Communicate clearly with shift supervisors and team members regarding production status and issues
• Support continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and quality concerns

What You Will Bring

• 2 years of hands-on welding experience in a production or fabrication environment
• Proficiency with MIG welding; experience with TIG or Stick welding is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and welding symbols
• Strong understanding of welding safety standards and metallurgy basics
• Experience with metal fabrication processes and press operations preferred
• Ability to work the 3rd shift schedule consistently and reliably
• Ability to stand bend and lift for extended periods (up to 50 lbs regularly)
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality over speed

• Welding certification (AWS or equivalent)
• Experience with CNC or automated welding equipment
• Familiarity with quality control tools (calipers micrometers etc.)
• Experience in automotive aerospace or industrial manufacturing
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles
