Welder Helpers

Location: Baytown Texas Employment Type: FullTime

Schedule: Monday- Friday 6 AM -6 PM rotating

• Assist welders with MIG welding on stainless steel components.
• Prepare materials clean weld areas and set up welding equipment.
• Support welders during fabrication of structural parts pipe sections and stainless assemblies.
• Operate grinders saws and basic shop tools to prep and finish welds.
• Hold position and secure materials during welding and fitup.
• Help with layout measuring cutting and material handling.
• Maintain a clean safe work area and follow all safety procedures.
• Assist with moving girders stiffeners splice plates and diaphragms for FCAW/MIG structural work.
• Perform basic tack welding if approved by supervisor.
• Work closely with welders and fitters to meet production goals.

• Experience assisting welders in an industrial or fabrication environment.
• Basic knowledge of MIG welding stainless steel handling and shop tools.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in hot or confined environments.
• Strong work ethic reliability and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain safety standards
