Welder

Urban Infraconstruction is looking for a Welder to join ourWater Resource Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication on steel components and construction equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints drawings and welding specifications
• Repair and maintain heavy equipment attachments and structural materials
• Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform field welding at active construction job sites
• Ensure all welds meet company quality and safety standards
• Follow OSHA and company safety procedures at all times

Qualifications

• Valid Steel Plate Welding Certification required
• Previous welding experience in construction heavy civil or industrial environments preferred
• Ability to weld various thicknesses of steel plate
• Familiarity with MIG Stick and Flux-Core welding processes preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
