Job Summary

POSITION - Welder.
JOB LOCATION - Manitowoc Chilton New Holstein and St. Nazianz Wisconsin.
STARTING DATE - Immediate.
EMPLOYMENT TERM - Temp-to-hire or direct-hire.
EMPLOYMENT TYPE - Full-time.
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) - 1st 2nd and 3rd shift.
STARTING PAY - $20-$27/hour (depending on experience). Shift premiums available.

REQUIRED EDUCATION - High School Diploma/GED is required certification or degree in welding desired.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE - 1-3 years welding experience preferred but just education focused on welding will also be considered.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Weld various parts in different materials.
Conduct dimensional inspections of parts and check for quality requirements.
Understand and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Grinding sanding and cutting (oxy-fuel and hand plasma) as required.
Ability to properly blend welds to meet requirements.
Adhere to lean manufacturing initiatives quality requirements and safety programs.
Works with operations and weld engineering to execute various types of projects.
Fit up parts prior to welding.
General welding and shop duties as needed.
