Weld Lead, 1st Shift Exmark

1st Shift Hours: 6:00am - 2:00pm

Pay: $26.46

What Will You Do

Perform and complete welding duties and responsibilities on a variety of different types of outdoor power order to grow and build a successful career with Exmark you will be responsible for:

• Assists supervisor with training of new employees including reading and interpreting Exmark blueprints clean up and care of weld equipment and weld booth and in use of jigs and weld fixtures and welding methods.

• Carries out a first-piece inspection at the beginning of and midway through the shift.

• Assists welders with questions regarding weld equipment.

• Periodically checks for quality (splatter porosity etc.) as directed by supervisor.

• Helps out wherever needed to keep things moving.

• Substitutes for absent employees in a work cell or booth. May be required to do this during a full shift.

• Assists and fills-in for the supervisor as needed.

• Actively looks foropportunities to improve methods material flow safety and the workenvironment.

• May be required to help out in other areas or departments needed to keep the value stream moving.

What Do You Need

To be considered for this role an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:

• To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Some technical knowledge and ability to follow standard work and procedures.

• Experience in using power tools helpful.
