Weekend Shift Tube Bender

Join Life Fitness/Hammer Strength as a Tube Bender on our weekend shift and help build high-quality strength and fitness equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing this role youll safely set-up and operate tube bending equipment to produce high-quality components that meet engineering specifications and customer expectations.

This full-time position offers a base wage of $21.25 to $26.00 per hour (depending on experience) plus overtime eligibility after only 36 hours worked per week.

Shift: Weekend Shift (FridaySunday 5:00 AM5:30 PM)

• Set up adjust and operate tube bending machines and related equipment.
• Bend structural tubing rods bars pipe channels and other materials to precise specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints drawings work instructions and process sheets.
• Select and install the proper tooling dies fixtures and gauges for each job.
• Inspect finished parts using measuring and inspection equipment to verify quality and tolerances.
• Perform first-piece inspections and recommend process improvements when appropriate.
• Identify and properly tag nonconforming materials.
• Complete production documentation accurately and on time.
• Communicate effectively with teammates and other departments to support production goals.
• Safely operate hoists manual pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work area.

Successful candidates will have:

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience operating fabrication or metal-forming equipment is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints process sheets and work instructions.
• Ability to accurately use tape measures calipers protractors and other measuring tools.
• Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading writing and speaking).
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

This position requires the ability to safely perform the essential functions of the job including:

• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Frequently bend twist reach overhead grasp tools and perform repetitive motions.
• Safely operate hoists manual pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment.

Your base wage will be between $21.25 - $26.13 per hour and includes eligibility for overtime. The actual wage offer will be based on qualifications experience location and other relevant factors. Youll have the opportunity to participate in the Production Bonus Plan which provides opportunities to earn additional compensation based on performance metrics. Bonus eligibility is subject to meeting certain production goals and other criteria as outlined.
