Job Summary
To provide routine janitorial and maintenance services for the parish buildings and grounds.
This part position assists in keeping all areas of the parish complex safe and clean. These duties include but are not limited to:
This part position assists in keeping all areas of the parish complex safe and clean. These duties include but are not limited to:
- Ensure sidewalks and entry ways are free from snow/ice and salted
- Cleaning of all facility buildings including vacuuming and mopping of floors cleaning restrooms washing windows and other janitorial services as required
- Trash collection and removal
- Set up for meetings and various Parish activities according to set up requests
- Open buildings turn on lights
- Ensure all buildings are secured locked and alarmed after work hours and meetings
- Other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned as needed
Qualifications/Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to stretch reach walk kneel and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to safely use lawn/snow equipment
- Ability to perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision
- Have a high level of discretion and integrity
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must be fingerprinted and attend Protecting Gods Children prior to employment
This is a part time weekend position. The hours will be Saturday 2:30-6:00 p.m.; Sunday 7-1:00 p.m. These hours may increase with weekend activities in the church.
