We are urgently seeking a compassionate dependable Care Professional to support an elderly couple in their longtime family farm home in Stratford Iowa.

Our client is a gentle dignified woman who spent years working at Iowa State University and helping build a life rooted in family hard work and commitment. Today she requires full bed-level care and daily assistance with repositioning personal care and transfers using a Hoyer lift.

But this position is about more than physical care.

Its about preserving comfort dignity and connection.

Every day she is transferred to her recliner so she can spend meaningful time beside her husband her lifelong partner and devoted primary caregiver. That moment matters deeply to both of them. Your presence allows their home to continue feeling like home.

Her husband remains very involved in her care and should always be treated as a valued partner in the caregiving team. The right caregiver will understand how important reassurance communication and consistency are in helping both husband and wife feel supported.

This is not a fast-paced facility environment. This is one home one family and an opportunity to provide meaningful one-on-one care that truly matters.

QUALIFICATIONS
Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and eager to continuously learn new skills
Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation every single day
Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
Prior experience in healthcare hospitality or in-home care preferred (minimum 1 year)
Supportive dependable and compassionate
High School Diploma or equivalent
Take pride in providing high-quality care

Experienced or willing to learn Hoyer lift transfers
