Website Hosting, Maintenance & Accessibility Support Specialist

Seeking an experienced Website Hosting Maintenance & Accessibility Support Specialist to support the Oklahoma State University & A&M System. The consultant will provide enterprise website hosting WordPress maintenance accessibility monitoring technical support security updates and ongoing web performance optimization for multiple higher education institutions. The engagement supports four constituent colleges under the OSU A&M System and follows a Best Value procurement model.

• Provide enterprise website hosting and infrastructure support.

• Perform routine website maintenance updates and performance optimization.

• Monitor and maintain WCAG/ADA accessibility compliance across university websites.

• Apply WordPress core theme and plugin updates.

• Troubleshoot website issues security vulnerabilities and hosting incidents.

• Implement SSL DNS domain and hosting renewal management.

• Deliver technical support and coordinate issue resolution with university stakeholders.

• Produce documentation maintenance reports and accessibility recommendations.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (preferred).

• 5 years of experience in website hosting and maintenance.

• Strong hands-on experience with WordPress administration.

• Knowledge of web hosting platforms DNS SSL certificates and domain management.

• Experience with ADA/WCAG accessibility testing and remediation.

• Familiarity with website security backups and performance monitoring.

• Excellent communication and client-facing support skills.
