Web Performance Engineer

Experience/Technical Skills required:

This role focuses on optimizing frontend website performance to enhance user experience and drive eCommerce revenue. The company operates within the digital and eCommerce industry emphasizing speed and customer journeys to improve business outcomes

Position Overview:

Analyze and improve website performance using Core Web Vitals (LCP INP CLS).Investigate rendering JavaScript network caching image and browser performance audits using Lighthouse Chrome DevTools WebPageTest PageSpeed Insights CrUX and RUM with and teams to optimize rendering bundle size code splitting caching and asset with cross-functional teams to embed performance best practices into the development lifecycle.

Requirements:

8 years of frontend engineering experience with 3 years dedicated to web performance in JavaScript/TS HTML5 and understanding of browser rendering Core Web Vitals networking caching CDN and HTTP with Lighthouse Chrome DevTools WebPageTest PageSpeed Insights CrUX RUM mPulse or analytical troubleshooting collaboration and communication skills.
