Weapons Systems Specialist (E6B Subject Matter Expert SME)

i3 is seeking an E-6B Flight Engineer/Naval Aircrewman Mechanical (AWF) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to assist a software development team in developing virtual training solutions. The candidate must be able to translate aviation terminology procedures and operations for the Virtual Training Suite (VTS) development team. The candidate would also assist with product progress reporting scheduling and customer (stakeholder) interface.

Position Location: Onsite in Orlando FL or Huntsville AL.

• The candidate will provide subject matter expertise through design meetings storyboard creation and software content validation. Candidate should be able to adapt to changing workloads quickly and collaborate with your team and other business units to provide software solutions following best practices to ensure a high-quality standard. This fast-paced work environment has plenty of room for creativity expression and growth.
• Candidates should possess excellent communication and analytical skills; knowledge of interactive multimedia instruction is a plus. The candidate will work closely with customers supervisors instructional systems designers software designers software engineers and 3D artists to create interactive mobile web augmented reality virtual reality desktop training systems serious games and distributed learning simulations.

• CONUS Travel required: Less than 50%

Required Experience:

• Associates degree plus at least eight years of relevant experience with a G54A NEC. Additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
• Experience serving as an AWF E6B Flight Engineer Instructor within the fleet.
• Active Secret clearance with the ability maintain the security clearance.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite

Preferred Experience:

• Master Training Specialist
• Experience serving as an E6B FRS Instructor.
• Familiarity with software development and 3D creation are a plus.

• Regular i3 hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday however additional hours may be required on occasion. Regular and punctual attendance is required.
