Job Summary
Wealth & Trust Operations Manager - Sioux Falls
First Dakota is hiring a full-time Wealth & Trust Operations Manager to join our Sioux Falls team. Leads the overall coordination of daily trust and investment operations including implementing and maintaining operational controls with a focus on transactional reviews account and asset reconciliations recordkeeping and tax reporting. Will also be responsible for resolution of transaction and custody exceptions and performing complex inquiries and research.
Duties
- Manage the process of new accounts trades and all documentation associated with the daily balancing and processing of customer accounts.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for operations.
- Process tax reporting information.
- Problem solve issues in customer accounts and resolve operational issues within the department.
- Motivate train and direct the efforts of the employees within the operations department.
- Maintain high level of compliance in reference to the regulatory policies and practices of the Trust industry.
- Identify risks and effective strategies to reduce incoming risk.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

The ability to process a variety of tasks accurately and efficiently the capability to maintain strict confidentiality attention to detail and comply with all Bank policies and procedures. Communicate effectively with various types of clientele co-workers and departments to resolve an assortment of needs. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Punctuality is a must.

Education/Experience
- Bachelors degree in a related subject; and
- 5 years experience in a related field
- Experience with Infovisa MAUI accounting software is a plus
- Preferred candidate will possess CTOP designation
- Experience with 1099 processing
