Job Summary

PURPOSE OF JOB:

The WCM Analyst will support and drive World Class Manufacturing (WCM) safety continuous improvement training and operational excellence initiatives within the Tufting Department. This position will partner closely with Production Quality Maintenance Planning Safety and Leadership teams to improve operational performance standardization employee engagement and process discipline across the department.

This role is expected to be highly engaged on the production floor and serve as a key resource for driving accountability problem solving training development and continuous improvement activities.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Support and help drive WCM initiatives across the Tufting operation

  • Lead and support Quick Kaizen (QK) activities and continuous improvement projects

  • Facilitate 5S visual management standard work and workplace organization initiatives

  • Support 7-Step RCA 5 Why and problem-solving activities

  • Assist in developing sustainable corrective actions and follow-up plans

  • Track and report improvement metrics and action item completion

  • Lead and coordinate the Tufting Safety Committee

  • Assist with safety audits GEMBAs Brothers Keeper observations and safety engagement activities

  • Support incident investigations corrective actions and safety follow-up items

  • Promote a strong safety culture through floor engagement and employee coaching

Training & Standardization

  • Develop revise and maintain SOPs OPLs visual aids and training documentation

  • Coordinate and assist with training initiatives across all shifts

  • Support standardization efforts to improve consistency and operational discipline

  • Assist in onboarding and development of production associates

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Production Maintenance Quality Engineering and Warehouse teams

  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization

  • Assist leadership in driving accountability and follow-through on department initiatives

  • Provide floor support and operational assistance as needed

NEEDED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel Word Teams and PowerPoint

  • Experience with continuous improvement WCM Lean Manufacturing or similar systems preferred

  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends/opportunities

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with multiple departments

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Capable of executing system requirements within SAP

  • Experience developing SOPs OPLs or training documentation

  • Capable of safely lifting 50 lbs

  • Ability to work flexible hours weekends and overtime as business needs require

  • Readiness to perform any other duties issued by the Production Manager or Plant Manager

Schedule: Primary day shift; flexibility required for evenings weekends and overtime as business needs dictate
