WaterWastewater Engineering Internship

Work Setting:In-person (All in office/field)

Hazen is seeking an intern in our Cincinnati office. As part of our design and process teams you will work on a variety of water-related assignments. Project opportunities include drinking water treatment facilities and distribution systems wastewater treatment facilities sewer and stormwater collection systems and other water resource management projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work directly with experienced engineering team providing mentoring opportunities to learn and develop
• Sit on a project team from initial studies and conceptual design through construction
• Assist in preparing engineering deliverables including sampling studies condition assessments hydraulics and design reports
• Manage data for process modeling and design
• Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors to select equipment
• Participate in fieldwork and local site visits

Required Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an ABET-accredited Bachelors/Masters degree program
• Strong written & verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in group settings.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
