Job Summary
Job Duties
- Review and correct all warranty claims generated through technicians to prepare for submission to vendors.
- Process all Crown warranty claims and claims for any other manufacturer represented by Crown.
- Review monthly A/R reports on all vendor warranty accounts.
- Process all warranty claim paperwork and track claims from the time they are submitted to the time they are paid or rejected.
- Maintain files on warranty claims.
- Tracking rejected warranties and notifying Service Manager about rejected warranties.
- Prepare monthly list of warranties not paid and determine disposition.
- Resubmit warranty claims as needed.
- Maintaining shipping and tracking warranty parts to vendors or scraping as needed.
- Determine disposition of warranty parts returned from vendor as a result of a rejected claim.
- Assist other parts personnel as required such as receiving parts and answering phones.
Minimum Qualifications
- Less than 2 years related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Parts or inventory control experience and lift truck industry experience preferred
- Good verbal communication written communication interpersonal organizational numerical perception and computer skills
