Job Responsibilities:
Performs product testing using a variety of products to ensure system compliance with customer requirements/ and understands SPC applications. Issues and maintains activities relating to corrective and/or preventative input on causes or reasons for quality problems and recommends process changes if in and/or leads customer driven root cause analysis processes (i.e. DCAR & 8D).Visually inspects customer part returns and determines disposition on any non-conforming product (i.e. Company or customer origin).Gathers and summarizes data for monthly quality reports. Performs other duties as necessary including providing product launch support to Quality handles and disposes of any hazardous waste material in respective area. Monitors performance trends identifies specific failure modes and provides reports on competitive analysis for warranty sharing agreements. Identifies cause of failures and determines appropriateness of warranty part task team of failure and initiates immediate shipment of replacement part. Works closely with customer to assure customer return of failed part from customer and forwards part to Advanced Engineering for failure analysis. Maintains tracking system of warranty replacement parts.
