Applications for Clerk 3 in the Warrants Division are being accepted through Friday July 24 2026.
This position is not eligible for State Supplemental Pay.

Job Duties:
Maintain status of warrants in the 365labs system as active or recalled.
Complete reference checks for the FBI Marshals and Louisiana Bureau of Investigations to verify if warrants exist.
Enter traffic misdemeanor and felony warrants into the 365labs system.
Scans and indexes all warrants and recalls into the application extender system.
Place detainers on all inmates within other jail systems for the purpose of transfer.
Complete paperwork for the process of extradition and verify with the DAs office.
Communicate with other parishes when warrants have been served and completed.
Notify CIU of all warrants that need to be removed from NCIC.
Fax copies of warrants to other parishes when necessary for the purpose of arrest.
Qualifications:
Employed by the EBRSO for at least 12 months
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Able to communicate effectively in person and on the telephone
Able to work on multiple assignments simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Able to perform general clerical duties such as filing typing and faxing
Able to maintain confidentiality of information
