Job Summary

Job Title: Dentist (General)

Duration: 1 year contract

Shift Schedule:

Mon Tue Thu Fri: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 12:00 PM 5:00 PM
1-hour lunch break included; closed on federal holidays

How Many Shifts Needed Per Month: Up to 5 days/week as coordinated with the COR

Credentialing / Onboarding Time: 6 8 weeks (credentialing and privileging must be completed

License: Current unrestricted dental license in any U.S. State DC Puerto Rico or U.S. Territory

Certifications: BLS (required); DEA registration if applicable

Education: DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school

Experience Needed: Minimum 2 years clinical experience OR completion of a residency program; GPR or AEGD preferred

Special Skills Needed: Dentrix RPMS/EHR Microsoft Office/Outlook; radiograph interpretation; cultural sensitivity with Native American patient populations; rural/remote healthcare experience preferred

Responsibilities:

Oral examinations diagnosis and treatment planning
Restorative endodontic periodontal and oral surgery procedures (within privileges)
Pediatric dental procedures
Emergency dental treatment
Radiograph interpretation and diagnostic evaluations
Prescribing medications as appropriate
Specialty referral coordination
Supervision and coordination of dental support staff
Patient consultations follow-up care and oral health education
Documentation in Dentrix and RPMS/EHR; HIPAA compliance
