Posting Description
PROGRAM COORDINATOR Wargaming Lab - Security Studies Program (SSP) to provide operational and administrative support and coordinate events meetings and seminars for the MIT SSP Wargaming Lab (WGL); and provide day-to-day operational activities working closely with the co-directors of the Lab developing implementing and monitoring program and project plans.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED: Bachelors degree with a minimum of two years of events planning and/or project/program management experience; demonstrated success planning and implementing events; ability to coordinate several events and projects simultaneously; strong organizational project management analytical problem-solving critical thinking and written and verbal communication skills; meticulous attention to detail; technical proficiency with MS Office/Outlook and willingness to learn new programs and software as needed; ability to learn and master financial systems; the ability to work both independently and as part of a team; and excellent customer service and interpersonal skills especially when working with visitors.
Occasional weekday evening and weekend work along with some domestic and possible international travel will be required.
