Warehouse Worker (Purchasing)

Position Summary

The Warehouse Worker supports daily warehouse operations by receiving storing organizing and distributing equipment and supplies. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy preparing orders for delivery or customer pickup documenting company assets and maintaining a clean safe and organized warehouse.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• None.
• Assist with training new employees as assigned.
• Report inventory equipment and safety issues to management.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive inspect store and organize incoming inventory.
• Pick pack stage and prepare equipment and supplies for delivery or customer pickup.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (when certified) to load unload move and store equipment supplies and inventory.
• Accurately log all equipment prepared for delivery or pickup including Make Model Serial Number (when applicable) quantity and equipment description or type.
• Verify all equipment is complete clean and in good working condition before release.
• Maintain accurate inventory shipping receiving and equipment issuance records.
• Assist with inventory counts and report shortages or discrepancies.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely including pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
• Maintain a clean organized and safe warehouse and shop by properly storing tools equipment parts and supplies and returning them to their designated locations after use.
• Follow all company policies safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Dependable with a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse or inventory experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Stand walk bend reach and perform physical work throughout the shift.
• Work in varying warehouse conditions.
