We are seeking a professional forward-thinking Warehouse Team Supervisor for our 120000 square foot Distribution Center in Kansas City Missouri. Position Overview

The Warehouse Team Supervisor reporting to the Operations Manager is responsible for managing a team of 12 warehouse employees. This role will ensure products are received stored and safely handled and delivered to customers with a strong focus on quality.

• Lead customer claim resolution initiatives by identifying root causes implementing corrective actions and driving continuous reduction in claims and service issues.
• Assist with rolling out the new SAP S/4HANA system implementation
• Oversee inventory control systems and warehouse operations to ensure accurate order fulfillment inventory integrity and on-time delivery performance.
• Train coach and motivate 12 warehouse staff while fostering a positive safety-focused and team-oriented work environment built on fairness and accountability.
• Monitor analyze and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to ensure operational efficiency productivity and achievement of company goals.
• Champion quality assurance process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiencies reduce costs and enhance overall warehouse performance.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree preferred in Industrial Engineering Business Administration or related field
• High school diploma required
• 5 or more years supervising employees
• 5 or more years working in a warehouse
• Understanding of ISO Certification standards
• Experience in SAP is required
• Experience in Lean methodology is strongly preferred
• Problem solving and root cause analysis skills
• Ability to read write and speak English
• Understanding of OHSA standards
• Ability to drive forklifts with standard heights on 18 feet
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand on feet 8 hours daily
