Job Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor leads daily warehouse and inventory management operations ensuring material availability to support maintenance and operational activities. This role supervises warehouse staff oversees inventory accuracy coordinates with procurement and operations teams manages vendor returns and capital spare parts enforces safety standards and ensures efficient warehouse processes while providing leadership training and customer support.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse and inventory management operations.
- Lead and manage warehouse staff and assign workloads.
- Monitor inventory transactions and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Ensure adequate material supply to support maintenance and operations.
- Prevent stock shortages and minimize equipment downtime.
- Track tag receive store and issue inventory and capital spare parts.
- Coordinate with procurement planning and vendors to resolve supply issues.
- Schedule repair return and warranty processes with vendors.
- Support preventive maintenance overhaul projects and special initiatives.
- Assist with inventory and material audits.
- Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce workplace safety standards.
- Administer labor agreements and support employee performance management.
- Maintain inventory records and documentation using enterprise systems.
- Train and coach warehouse personnel.
- Monitor KPIs and improve warehouse performance.
- Provide responsive customer service to internal departments.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 years of related warehouse inventory or logistics experience.
- Knowledge of inventory management and material control.
- Experience supervising warehouse personnel.
- Familiarity with ERP and inventory management systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Oracle ERP.
- Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
- Understanding of procurement logistics and supply chain operations.
- Valid drivers license.
