UCT is looking for a talented Fabrication Warehouse Supervisorto join us inChandler AZ!
The Fabrication Warehouse Supervisor leads daily receiving warehousing and material movement operations in support of fabrication production. This role requires a seasoned leader with experience managing complex materials coordinating closely with manufacturing teams and ensuring accurate and timely material flow to production.
The supervisor oversees staff performance assigns work across warehouse functions and drives on-time delivery inventory accuracy capacity and productivity. This role also requires the ability to interpret production needs understand technical documentation and align warehouse operations to fabrication workflows.
By monitoring KPIs coaching and developing employees enforcing company policies and driving operational performance this role ensures reliable logistics execution in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead daily warehouse operations supporting fabrication and production needs
Ensure accurate and timely material flow to and from manufacturing areas
Partner closely with fabrication teams to support production schedules and priorities
Oversee inventory accuracy material handling storage and movement of complex components
Support handling of sheet metal parts fabricated components and WIP inventory
Assign and prioritize work across receiving inventory and warehouse functions
Manage department productivity staffing capacity and overtime
Track and report operational performance including KPI reporting and trend analysis
Maintain compliance with safety quality and operational procedures
Lead coach and develop team members
Conduct performance reviews and manage employee performance
Establish and drive cross-training initiatives

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations in a manufacturing/fabrication environment
Ability to work with and manage complex high-value materials and assemblies
Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings
Familiarity with sheet metal or fabrication-related materials and workflows preferred
Strong understanding of inventory control material flow and production support
Ability to maintain inventory accuracy and cycle count processes
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required including building and analyzing KPI reports using:
- Pivot tables
- VLOOKUPs
- Data tracking tools
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills in a fast-paced production environment
Educational/Certification Requirement:
- High School Diploma (or G.E.D.) or equivalent in Business Administration.
Work Experience:
5 years of experience in warehouse/logistics within a manufacturing environment
Experience supporting fabrication machining or production operations strongly preferred
Experience handling sheet metal components or similar materials preferred
Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred)
Exposure to Lean JIT or similar methodologies (nice to have not required)
Management Experience:
25 years of supervisory experience managing warehouse/logistics teams
Experience managing 510 employees in a production-support environment
Proven ability to:
- Lead teams in a high-volume high-complexity environment
- Drive productivity and operational performance
- Partner cross-functionally with manufacturing teams
Experience managing complex inventory (machined parts fabricated assemblies etc.)
