How you will make an impact:
1st Shift Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for general warehouse duties including locating product and materials for storage or shipment while ensuring all inventory is adequately maintained. Additionally the 1st Shift Warehouse Supervisor will assist the Warehouse Manager with planning organization in the operations and activities outside of the cleanroom and will focus on training assigning supervising and evaluating staff. The 1st Shift Warehouse Supervisor will work cross-functionally to ensure that operations are running smoothly in the warehouse.
- Reviews Labor Hour Trend reports against production output to confirm labor efficiency & utilization is in-line with the warehouse KPIs. Flows this information and reviews with the team Leads for the efficiency & utilization by work cell.
- Plan organize supervise and participate in daily warehouse operation and activities including the receipt documentation storage safety and distribution of equipment and supplies and maintenance of inventory; to include Inter-Company Shipments and order fulfillment; to include training warehouse staff to complete Inter-Company Shipments.
- Train supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned packaging warehouse and receiving employees; assign workloads to staff.
- Monitor automated warehousing system; operate a computer to enter data correct errors and control key screens as required.
- Operate and demonstrate use of specialized warehouse equipment as necessary; assure proper and routine maintenance and servicing of warehouse vehicles and equipment.
- Observe health and safety regulations; maintain warehouse in a clean safe and orderly condition; Ensures all safety processes and procedures are being followed throughout the workday and alerts of any potential exposures.
- Assist management in establishing warehouse standards procedures and process improvement within the Warehouse Operations.
- Ensures warehouse inventory is organized.
- Report damaged or missing inventory to management.
- Ensure workspace is free of debris and safety hazards in aisles.
- Work as an active team member to complete collective goals.
- Report any injury or near misses to the supervisor/manager or Human Resources as soon as possible.
- Monitor workflow to ensure standard work techniques are being adhered to in order to complete the work safely.
- Motivate employees and maintain good morale and performance standards/expectations across the board.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and encourage all employees to do the same.
Supervisor Responsibilities
Works closely to train and oversee the work of Warehouse Technicians. Responsible for communicating and enforcing the overall direction coordination and evaluation of the Warehouse.
Responsibilities include interviewing and training employees; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; reviewing and providing feedback to employees and manager; addressing complaints and resolving problems; and bringing up any concerns to appropriate stakeholders.
This is an on-site role based out of our headquarters in Camarillo CA.
The skills and experience youll need:
- 2 years experience of warehousing and stock control methods and procedures methods of receiving inspecting and issuing materials in manufacturing environment required.
- Able to operate a forklift and other assigned vehicle and equipment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations record-keeping techniques and inventory methods and practices.
- Interpersonal skills using tact patience and courtesy.
- Experience with an automated warehouse inventory system a plus.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate required.
- Valid drivers license required.
- Ability to communicate verbally in English and Spanish preferred.
- Computer skills are essential with ability to quickly learn customized software applications.

US BASE PAY SCALE $28.00 - $37.32/hr
The base pay scale for this role is what Meissner reasonably expects to pay for the position although actual pay may vary from this scale depending on an applicants experience.
