Warehouse Specialist

Job Summary: The management coordination and execution of warehouse operations. Warehouse operations professionals play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement storage and handling of goods within a warehouse or distribution center. They ensure that products and goods are handled with safety quality and care as they are moved around and monitor inventory levels to ensure warehouse capacity is met for timely and accurate order fulfillment.â

Location: Kent WA IKEA-6329 S 226th St Suite 113 Kent WA 98032

Shift: Rotating days some shifts 7:00am till 3:30pm some shifts 10:00am - 6:00pm

Compensation: $22.00 per hour. This is a fixed rate of pay for the role and is not negotiable.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Load and unload trucks arriving within the warehouse or storage facility
• Move material within the facility and from the loading platform
• Use hand trucks hoists conveyors or other handling equipment
• Separation of cardboard and foam
• Material handling may include picking packing scanning kitting or counting products
• Always adhere to a clean and safe environment
• Use a barcode scanner and warehouse management system

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with warehouse equipment including forklifts and their operation is preferred but not required.
