• Reviewworkorderstoidentifyproductstobeloadedoncorrecttrailers.
• Inventorytrucksonlotforhowmany andwhosetrailerstheyareandmatchtodroplist.
• Inspectforklifttoensureproperoperationandperformroutinemaintenance.
• Operateforklifttoretrievestockfromwarehouseandloadontrailersandrailcars.

• Directtrucktrafficinloadingarea.
• Moverailcarsintopositionforloading.
• Inspecttrailersandrailcarsforcleanlinessandnotifyowneriftrailerdoesnotpass inspection.
• Monitorpalletsandproductsfordamage.
• Plantheload.
• Loadandunloadpalletsandproductsonrailcarsandboxandflatbedtrailers.
• Followfood-gradeprocedurestoprotectfromcontaminationortheftduringtransit.
• Performspecialhandlingasindicatedinworkorder.
• Prepare paperwork to document work performed identify exceptions and provide toshipping clerk for processing.
• Performhousekeepingasnecessary.
• Inspectdockdoorsandplatesforproperfunctioning.
• Performotherdutiesasassignedbysupervisor.

• Listening-understand oral job-related information and instructions received from coworkers and to forklift and yard dog to detect problems.
