Job Summary

Position Overview

GENERAL PURPOSE

The role of the Warehouse Packaging Operator will rotate when needed between the onsite warehouse off site warehouse and small packaging operations. The operator will ensure tasks are performed within all EHS quality and corporate guidelines on a right-first-time basis. The warehouse packaging operator is also responsible for providing coverage on the packaging line when needed to packaging inks into small containers and label for sale. The warehouse packaging operator will properly manage and store incoming materials intermediate and finished product to support pigment dispersion ink and dye manufacturing and sales.

KEY RESULT AREAS/DELIVERABLES

Primary warehouse role will be the ability to load and off-load materials to and from various size trucks & containers move material throughout onsite and offsite warehouses.

When packaging line requires coverage; This includes material handling operating pumps filtering and packaging to customer requirements. Other responsibilities that are a smaller portion of the position are relabeling containers waste consolidation sampling and repacking other materials.

It is expected that this position will play a significant role in supporting departmental Continuous Improvement Lean and 5S activities.

Other duties will involve following of S&OPs equipment troubleshooting and ensuring consumption of materials is accurate.
