Job Summary
The Ticket Puller / Order Selector is responsible for reading pick tickets pulling the correct industrial products (fittings valves adapters raw hose and pipe accessories) from warehouse racking and accurately staging them for assembly or shipping. Speed attention to part numbers and basic warehouse math are critical.
Shift: Monday Friday Day Shift (8:00 AM 5:00 PM)
- Pull orders accurately from physical pick tickets.
- Locate parts across bin locations bulk racks and pipe yard storage.
- Match part numbers quantities and descriptions precisely to avoid mispicks (differentiating between similar thread configurations sizing and materials).
- Operate warehouse equipment safely (manual pallet jacks)
- Stage pulled materials for the hose fabrication tables counter sales or shipping/staging lanes.
- Assist with daily cycle counting bin replenishment and maintaining clean warehouse aisles.
- Experience: 1 years of warehouse order pulling pick/pack or inventory experience (industrial supply plumbing or distribution background strongly preferred).
- Detail-Oriented: Strong ability to match complex alphanumeric part numbers and read fine print/tags.
- Math & Measurement: Solid basic math skills; comfortable using a standard tape measure.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to walk/stand for an 8-hour shift bend stoop and lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Reliability: Strict adherence to punctuality and shift attendance.
