Warehouse Operations Supervisor
Objective Qualifications
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the general operations of a warehouseand its staff. They handle the recording and maintaining of inventory advisingthe imports received and items exported. They also train new workers and ensuretheir performance is adequate.
Essential Functions
Assigningworkloads and daily tasks to warehouse associates
Receivesort and process all incoming shipmentsto ensure that they match the purchase order and meet quality standards.
Maintainlogs to track trace and resolve shipping problems with all major carriers.
Sorts andprocesses mailings as assigned.
Packageand prepare items for external shipments coordinate deliveries and pick-ups.
Assist inthe loading and unloading of trucks and other vehicles
Processweekly outgoing courier packages.
Participatein regular physical counts of inventory to ensure accuracy.
Createelectronic shipments on carrier websites.
Liaisewith Building Management on maintenance activities.
Monitor/Order/replenishwarehouse inventory.
Monitoringwarehouse associates in work environment including following all safetyprotocols and regulations.
Coordinatefacility related jobs with external service vendors.
OtherDuties as needed.

Highschool diploma or equivalent.
Previousexperience working in a warehouse or related field.
BasicWorking Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of Products basic math andcomputer skills
Physicalfitness and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
Goodorganizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability towork independently and as part of a team.
Validdrivers license and ability to operate material handling equipment such asforklifts pallet jacks and hand trucks.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
This jobis performed in a professional office environment.
Thisposition is a highly active and mobile one;
Moderateamounts of heavy lifting are required
Hours and Travel
This is afull-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 9am-5pm.
Travel isexpected for this position using company vehicle.
