Warehouse Operation Supervisor - Fort Collins CO
Full-Time Exempt
Position Summary
The Warehouse Operation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations including inventory management shipping and receiving material handling order fulfillment and warehouse personnel. This role ensures that all warehouse activities are executed safely efficiently and in compliance with company policies quality standards and regulatory requirements.
The Warehouse Supervisor leads and develops warehouse employees coordinates workflow to support production and customer requirements maintains inventory accuracy and promotes a culture of safety continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Essential Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving storage inventory control material movement order fulfillment and shipping operations.
Coordinate staffing and work assignments to support changing production schedules and customer demand.
Ensure timely staging and delivery of raw materials to production areas.
Oversee the movement of finished goods from production to warehouse storage and outbound shipment locations.
Monitor warehouse organization housekeeping and storage practices to maintain a clean safe and efficient work environment.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment including forklifts pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
Inventory Management
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure alignment between physical inventory and ERP system transactions.
Oversee cycle counts inventory audits and reconciliation activities.
Ensure proper identification storage and rotation of raw materials packaging materials and finished goods.
Monitor inventory transactions and investigate discrepancies to maintain inventory integrity.
Leadership & Team Development
Lead coach train and develop warehouse employees to achieve safety quality productivity and service objectives.
Conduct performance evaluations provide ongoing feedback and support employee development.
Promote teamwork accountability and adherence to company values and expectations.
Assist with employee scheduling attendance management and workforce planning.
Support onboarding and training of new employees on warehouse procedures and safety requirements.
Safety Quality & Compliance
Ensure compliance with all safety environmental food safety and quality programs.
Lead safety meetings investigations and corrective actions related to accidents near misses and unsafe conditions.
Maintain a culture of safe work practices and continuous improvement.
Ensure all employees operate equipment safely and maintain required certifications and authorizations.
Support audits and inspections as required by company and regulatory standards.
Continuous Improvement
Support Performance Excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency inventory accuracy service levels and cost performance.
Utilize operational metrics and reporting to drive performance improvements and achieve departmental goals.
Additional Duties
Collaborate with Production Supply Chain Customer Service and Transportation teams to ensure smooth operations.
Support business continuity by adjusting schedules and resources as operational needs change.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 3 years of warehouse logistics manufacturing or distribution experience.
Minimum 1 year of supervisory lead or team leadership experience.
Experience with inventory management and warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP systems.
Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
Strong organizational communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred
Associates or Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Logistics Business or related field.
Experience in food manufacturing or regulated warehouse environments.
Continuous improvement experience (Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies).
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
Strong leadership and employee development skills.
Working knowledge of shipping receiving inventory control and warehousing best practices.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage changing operational demands.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated commitment to safety quality and continuous improvement.
Working Conditions
Warehouse and manufacturing environment.
Exposure to varying temperatures warehouse equipment and production operations.
May be exposed to food ingredients raw materials chemicals and food allergens associated with manufacturing operations.
May require occasional overtime weekend holiday or off-shift support based on business needs.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to bend stoop kneel climb and reach as necessary.
Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Ability to work at elevated heights using approved safety equipment when required.

ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location job-related knowledge skills and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired employees will be in an at-will position and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time including for reasons related to individual performance Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
The pay range for this position is expected to be between:
$58100.00 - $108000.00
