Warehouse Manager

Location: Greater Atlanta GA

An established and rapidly growing manufacturer in the wholesale building products industry is seeking an experienced Manager of Warehouse to lead warehouse operations across multiple production lines. This is a high-impact leadership role for a hands-on operations professional who excels at driving process improvements developing high-performing teams and implementing scalable warehouse systems.

• Lead and develop warehouse leadership teams through recruiting hiring training coaching and performance management.
• Directly oversee warehouse managers across multiple operational departments.
• Establish and maintain KPI reporting productivity metrics and operational dashboards to monitor daily weekly and monthly performance.
• Analyze workflows and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency productivity and quality.
• Forecast operational requirements assist with budgeting and manage departmental resources.
• Optimize warehouse layouts product flow and material handling processes.
• Develop and enforce operational policies and best practices.
• Source onboard and manage vendor relationships that support warehouse operations.
• Monitor vendor performance and resolve operational issues as needed.
• Supervise daily operations across departments such as assembly quality control staging stocking and related warehouse functions.
• Schedule labor resources to meet fulfillment demands while maximizing productivity and minimizing overtime.
• Oversee equipment inspections and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Partner with warehouse leads to identify productivity improvements and loss prevention opportunities.
• Manage logistics operations coordinating with transportation providers to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 10 years of warehouse operations experience.
• 5 years of warehouse leadership experience.
• Experience in production/process engineering.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations procedures and best practices.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferably NetSuite or comparable platforms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Proven leadership experience managing multiple teams and departments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide direct constructive feedback.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with employees at all organizational levels.

• Bachelors degree in a related field.
