Warehouse Lead

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Warehouse Lead for our client in Portland OR. The successful candidate will bring strong organizational skills and fair firm leadership to keep the warehouse floor running smoothly and remove roadblocks for the team.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $30$33/hr

Schedule: MondayFriday 8:00 AM5:00 PM

What Youll Do

• Provide leadership and daily oversight to a team of five warehouse team members reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor.

• Coordinate workflow staffing and inventory to ensure smooth efficient warehouse operations proactively identifying and resolving obstacles as they arise.

• Operate a forklift to safely transport materials throughout the warehouse.

• Maintain accurate inventory control across the warehouse.

• Provide courteous efficient customer service at the inbound/outbound door.

• Support shipping and receiving operations including processing bills of lading (BOLs) and shipping tickets using Oracle and other computer systems.

• Foster a positive collaborative team environment through fair firm and consistent leadership.

What Youll Bring

• 6 years of leadership experience in a warehouse setting.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Forklift experience.

• General computer proficiency; experience with Oracle or similar systems is a plus.

• Ability to lift push and pull up to 50 lbs. regularly.

• Ability to be on your feet for most of the shift with some time seated at a computer.

• Experience handling chemicals.

Work Environment

This role is based in a warehouse environment where the Warehouse Lead directs workflow inventory and a team of 5 while operating a forklift and supporting shipping and receiving activities. The work is active requiring employees to be on their feet for most of the shift with some time seated at a computer and regularly lift push and pull up to 50 lbs. Employees can expect a collaborative fast-paced culture that values organization clear communication and steady fair leadership on the floor.
