Warehouse Lead

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Lead to ensure all facility operations follow policies and procedures. They coordinate daily operations by delegating job assignments and providing guidance. A Lead provides supervision at an assigned location when the Manager is not present. The Shift Leader demonstrates established standards to keep the buildings/facilities clean and safe for all workers and customers. This role involves operating specialized equipment handling cleaning chemicals and supporting general janitorial duties as needed.

Location: Hampton VA
Hourly Rate: $17-$18 (Paid Weekly)
Schedule: Monday thru Friday 7AM-4PM And Weekends (as needed)

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Provide leadership and direction to team members
Relay communication between team members client customers and management
Report performance issues to the Supervisor
Assist with the training of cleaning team
Coordinate work assignments
Assist with making daily and weekly work schedules
Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building
Manage security of keys and access cards for the property
Report work orders for maintenance
Makes sure premises are secured at all times
Work with Manager to schedule jobs with Property Manager and cleaning crew to complete the work
Oversees quality of jobs and confirms completion with Manager
Provide training to all new hires assigned to the building
Check supplies equipment and chemicals weekly
Complete order forms completely and accurately
Coordinate equipment usage and inventories

Must be 18 years of age or older
No experience required and on the job training provided
No high school diploma GED or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

Customer service experience
One (1-2) years of similar work experience
